Golf
Well known as one of the world’s top five Golf destinations, Golf is good in Phoenix. And this is because of a choice of more than 275 golf courses and huge variety of designs, ranging from traditional to desert target settings, which it a Golfers heaven.

Museums
Arizona prides on having more than 200 museums, art centers, archaeological parks and gardens. With a permanent collection of 13,000, the Phoenix Art Museum features art work ranging from contemporary art to Western classics.
Also famous is the Heard Museum, which is known to be devoted to Native American art and culture.

Desert Botanical Garden
With some 50,000 plants including 139 endangered species, the Desert Botanical Garden is placed amidst of the red mounts of the Papago Park. It showcases about 50 acres of outdoor exhibits.

Phoenix Zoo
While exploring the five individual trails, you will have the chance to see more than 1,300 animals on exhibit.

Hiking & Backpacking

At 16,500 acres, the nation's largest city park is spread over a vast area of 11 miles. Sports
Being one of the world’s top five Golf destinations, three major professional golf tournaments The Phoenix Open (PGA), the Standard Register Turquoise Classic (LPGA) and The Tradition (Senior PGA), have regular stops in Greater Phoenix.

Metro Phoenix plays host to many soccer and football festivals like Tostitos Fiesta Bowl (college football festival), Phoenix Suns (NBA), Phoenix Coyotes (NHL), Phoenix Mercury (WNBA) and the Arizona Thunder (indoor soccer).

Also, the Greater Phoenix plays host to The San Francisco Giants, Seattle Mariners, Oakland Athletics, Chicago Cubs, San Diego Padres, Milwaukee Brewers and Anaheim Angels, seven main league baseball teams.   

Stuffington Bear Factory
This Bear factory is available for tours, taking the visitors through the journey of Teddy Bear making, also giving them a real experience by giving them chance to stuff their own teddy bears. Visitors get to learn all about the history and art of Teddy Bear manufacturing.

Out of Africa Wildlife Park
Out of Africa Wildlife Park gives visitors a real experience of jungle life, letting them watch wild animal. In the park’s most popular show, Tiger Splash, tigers chase the staff and they all run and jump into a giant pool, representing the prehistoric behavior of animals, when humans became their preys.
